Westworld (1973) [USA]

A partial set of four cards from the original theatrical release of Westworld in the USA. The cards present are numbered 2, 4, 5 and 6. Unfortunately cards 1, 3, 7 and 8 are absent from this batch.

Collector’s note: The original print quality of these vintage pieces is not as clear (somewhat blurry) compared with most sets of the era. This is most likely down to a production error at the time and may well be evident on all such American sets for Westworld, unfortunately.

The film spawned one partially successful sequel “Futureworld” (1976) and eventually an initially very successful big-budget television series adaptation from HBO over in the USA. This has however since been cancelled somewhat unexpectedly in 2022 – to the dismay of many fans across the world.

Westworld was directed by Michael Crichton.
