Even with over 30 or so years as an avid collector under my belt, certain sets or individual lobby cards have still managed to elude me (or slip through my white-gloved fingers!) over that time. On this occasionally updated page I will provide a simple list of cards falling into that category. If by some chance you happen to have any of them available to buy (or trade) then please do get in touch!

Complete Sets Sought (all 10" x 8", ideally)

  • 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) [UK or USA]
    • Directed by Stanley Kubrick
    • I do have a fabulous set from Spartacus (1960) and The Shining (1980) but it would be lovely to add some 2001 cards to the Gallery Collection too.. I can dream!
  • Withnail & I (1987) [UK]
    • Richard E. Grant, Paul McGann
    • Note: No USA cards exist for this particular movie (most likely with it being a British cult classic)
  • Regarding Henry (1991) [UK]
    • Harrison Ford
    • Note: No USA cards exist that I know of (with this being a release from the 90's)
  • First Blood (1982) [USA and UK]
    • Sylvester Stallone
    • Note: I'm not 100% certain a dedicated British set exists(?) - but an American one certainly does!
  • Dead Poet's Society (1989) [UK]
    • Robin Williams, Ethan Hawke
    • Note: As far as I am aware, no USA cards exist for this movie
  • To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) [USA]
    • William L. Petersen, Willem Dafoe
    • Note: I already own the 14" x 11" British set (orange backgrounds, from memory - yet to be scanned and archived)
  • Flash Gordon (1980) [UK]
    • Sam J. Jones
    • Max von Sydow
