Jaws 2 (1978) [USA]

A partial set(?) of three cards from a USA release of the inevitable sequel to Jaws (the first, as it turned out of 3 increasingly poor follow-ups to Spielberg’s original masterpiece). On this occasion Roy Scheider and Lorraine Gary both chose to return as Chief Martin Brody and Ellen Brody. Richard Dreyfuss opted to not reprise his role as “Hooper”, citing concerns that Spielberg was not to direct the second film. Although Jaws 2 does have some merit, I think it is fair to say that Dreyfuss made the correct call.. lucrative as the offer to return may well have been at the time.
