Sadly the star of the international popular culture mega-hit "Grease" (1978) has passed away at the age of 73 years.

Co-star John Travolta shared a heartfelt tribute on his social media channels not long after the news of her passing broke across the world - and many other fitting tributes have since flooded in too.
