About

A super-scarce batch of vintage black and white photographs featuring scenes from the landmark narration-free documentary conceived and directed by Godfrey Reggio.

Over eight YEARS in the making and shot across multiple areas of the United States of America, the project was finally released in 1982. Featuring incredible cinmetography by Ron Fricke (who later went on to make similar films such as Chronos (1985), Baraka (1992) and Samsara (2011).

No coverage of the magnificent Koyaanisqatsi can be complete without a mention of Philip Glass‘ mesmerising, hynotic and frankly incredible soundtrack score music.
