About

A complete set of SEVENTEEN cards (yes, 17!) from Russell Mulcahy’s time-travelling / immortality action adventure Highlander (1986). A commercial failure upon it’s initial release, the film has gone on to become a firm cult favourite amongst movie fans and has spawned several sequels and a successful TV spin-off series. Featuring a memorable score by the late Michael Kamen and songs by British rock band Queen the original is comfortably the best entry in the series and makes a thoroughly entertaining experience from start to finish. Add some of the director’s trademark showy camera work into the mix and you’re in for a treat, if Highlander is still on your “to watch” list!

Collector’s notes..

This unusually generous set of seventeen cards comprises of 14 in landscape (horizontal) format and a further 3 in portrait (vertical) ratio. Due to the way in which images are displayed here on the website the portrait images may appear somewhat smaller compared to the others, but in actual fact they are all the same precise size (14″ x 11″ or 11″ x 14″, depending on the format).

Condition

All of the cards are in unused condition but most of them do have minor blemishes to the lower (vulnerable!) black corners in particular. When I carefully scanned and archived this set I encountered NO major issues at all (i.e. no pin-holes, no staple marks, no creasing etc.) - with the slight wear to those corners being the only "damage" worthy of note, to the naked eye.
