Fellow die-hard collectors of movie memorabilia may well have already noticed that the majority of my own private collection showcased here at the Lobby Cards Gallery are from 1950 onwards.

Very few (if any) of the hundreds of cards I have acquired over the years were printed pre-1950. The reason for this comes simply down to one thing: cost! Complete sets and individual cards from any era be often be expensive – but not surprisingly the further back in time you go, the most you should expect to pay for these beautiful pieces of cinema history.

On this particular wing of the gallery you’ll typically see some of the oldest cards I do have in my collection. Enjoy browsing through the cards and sets.
