A complete set of eight cards from the first Superman sequel, released just two years later, in 1980.
Collector’s note: These are actually *not* cinema lobby cards, but instead a (complete) set of limited edition “Film cards” – officially authorised and produced around the same time as the film, over in the USA. Collectors would send off for these cards by Mail Order and they are of the same size and general quality as actual cinema lobby cards. It is now known how many such sets were produced, but they are difficult to acquire some 40+ years later regardless!
Irritatingly, just one of the cards is in portrait mode (ref. S-2) – which whilst being a great character image somewhat jars with the other 7 pieces in the set..
