Among Giants (1998) [Photo]

A single press kit photograph featuring the late Pete Postlethwaite alongside Australian actress Rachel Griffiths (“Six Feet Under”), starring in Sam Miller’s 1998 film “Among Giants”. Written by Simon Beaufoy, the film was also set in Yorkshire and shares some other similarities. Unlike The Full Monty, Among Giants was a commercial failure and was (in my opinion) mismarketed to give the impression that it was some form of “follow-up” to that film, which was never the case (indeed, Beaufoy actually wrote the story for Among Giants earlier in his career as a screenwriter).

Sadly Pete Posltethwaite passed away in 2011, at the age of 64 years.
