A pair of vintage cards believed to be from the original British release of the classic thriller “Play Misty for Me” starring and directed by Clint Eastwood. Jessica Walter co-starred in a memorable peformance as the primary antagonist of the story, Evelyn Draper.
Both cards measure 10″ x 8″ and feature Walter as Draper prominently.
Short synopsis:
“In Clint Eastwood’s directorial debut, Play Misty for Me (1971), Dave Garver (Eastwood) is a smooth-talking jazz radio disc jockey in Carmel, California. During his nightly broadcasts, a recurring female caller frequently requests Erroll Garner’s jazz standard, “Misty”. Following his shift one night, Dave visits a local bar and meets Evelyn Draper (Jessica Walter). After a casual hookup, Evelyn reveals she is the mysterious caller…”
