Now these really ARE special! A small batch of original British film censor sheets. These are true one-off pieces which would then have been photographed and shown on the big screen for a few moments prior to the screening of the film in question. As far as I know, only ONE exists per movie.. wow. I will share pictures of the others in due course. The titles are pretty obscure films, but that doesn`t really matter at all, such is the amazing nature of these vintage pieces of ephemera…
The vast, vast majority of items within the @lobbycardsgallery collection are typically one-offs and of course All are vintage authentic pieces of memorabilia. However, there are a few exceptions where in the past I managed to pick up the few extras of the same item. Take this British front of house card from David Cronenberg`s classic body horror "The Fly" (1986), for example.

Another recent addition to the gallery: a super-scarce complete set of colour Front of House cards, this time from the big screen spin-off movie for the hugely popular BBC TV comedy "Porridge". Starring the late Ronnie Barker and Richard Beckinsale, the latter of which tragically passed away not long after the making of this film, at the young age of just 31 years.

Beyond delighted to have acquired a complete set of American colour stills featuring eight scenes from William Friedkin`s classic horror "The Exorcist" (1974). Considering the huge success of the film, vintage memorabilia is typically not easy to come by for this particular release. Each of these cards measures 10" x 8" and are in superb condition. It`s worth noting that the apparent muted colour palette is more than likely how these were issued, rather than showing signs of discoloration from over the years. I`m confident in this assessment having seen other individual cards in the past which looked very similar to these. Not surprisingly several sequels have since been made.. but I think it`s there to say none have come even close to original!
